With a lack of tech enabled garments at NYFW, LFW might be a little different thanks to TwentyFour15. They are launching a collection of connected street wear as part of London Fashion Week. The new app connected line includes limited edition branded t-shirts fitted with tailored RFID tags.

TwentyFour15, Fashion Remixed
Launching on the 15th September 2017 in Covent Garden, London, the brand has successfully merged fashion with science to come up with products that enable unique interactions that beat to the rhythm of the wearer’s life. TwentyFour15’s roots lay in London’s fashion counterculture, the collection expresses emotion through colour, light, and connectivity. According to TwentyFour15, their line is “The ultimate playlist for the body”.

Creative Lead, Richard Thornn of TwentyFour15 adds, “In today’s fashion world we want instant gratification. We now dress, show and share using digital platforms. In this hyper-connected culture TwentyFour15 enables its squad to remix fashion using our platform. Our squad will co-create with us, defining the future of fashion through our digital threads. TwentyFour15 will alter perceptions of wearable tech in fashion, expect secret code and easter eggs embedded in our apparel. We want users to sign up to our tribe creating a new movement in fashion. TwentyFour15 is here to stir up what fashion means in the twenty first century.”

The collection, available early 2018, includes an app connected Rucksack that can change colour and animate to music via your smartphone device (£215.00), app connected Logo T-Shirt that can change colour and animate to music via your smartphone device (£190.00) and the most expensive, an app connected Bomber that can change colour and animate to music via your smartphone device (£770.00).

So if you are headed to the launch this week, make sure you are one of the first 50 walking through the doors, because you could nab yourself a t-shirt with the tech power to unlock early access to the fully app connected version of the garments due to land early next year. If you haven’t got an invite, make sure you are signed up to TwentyFour15’s newsletter for your Invite or follow TwentyFour15’s Instagram to gain entry to the presentation.
