Virtual Model, Innovative and Progressive Content?

Enter PrettyLittleThing's First Virtual Model.

Global fashion retailer PrettyLittleThing has launched its first digital model. The UK-based fashion retailer hopes that by adding a virtual model to their PLT family, they will successfully be able to bridge the gap between real life and fashion in the virtual world.

The social-led fashion brand, whose target customers are 16-35-year-old women, hopes that their virtual model would allow them to connect with their followers through Virtual Girl’s journey at PrettyLittleThing. “We want to involve them [customers] in the creation of Virtual Girl, and the first step will be a competition to give her a name,” explained the brand in their latest release.

“As a reactive brand, we have always listened to our customer’s requests to provide them with innovative and progressive content”.

The competition invites customers to comment on Instagram their proposed name for their virtual model. The entrant whose proposed name gets chosen will also win the chance to be turned into another virtual model featured on site.

Hoping to continue to grasp the growing opportunities proposed by the Metaverse, PrettyLittleThing stated: “As a reactive brand, we have always listened to our customer’s requests to provide them with innovative and progressive content”.

PrettyLittleThing, which has its main headquarters in Manchester, and with offices in London, Paris and Los Angeles, added, “Virtual Girl bridges the gap between Metaverse and real life, where for the first time, our customers can discover PrettyLittleThing products showcased by the latest addition to our model/influencer family,” said the brand in a press release.
