Amanda Cosco, has made a name for herself as a multimedia journalist focusing on the intersection of fashion and technology. Founder of Electric Runway, she has built her career writing articles about on cyborgs, wearable technology, smart fabrics, and future fashion. A contributor to rags like Women’s Wear Daily, the Toronto Star, Wareable, and the CBC, her expertise includes moderating panels on hacking hardware, wearables for women, and next-generation retail experiences.
The Canadian native holds a Master’s of Arts from Ryerson University, a Bachelor of Arts from York University, and a certificate of digital media skills from the Ontario College of Art and Design (OCAD U). With amazing experience under her belt, Amanda has evolved from having a strong interest in the merger of fashion and technology to being the go-to person telling the story of how we as humans, are changing our clothing, and how, in turn, our clothing is changing us.
