Rosan Pay x DIGISEQ: The Launch Of Contactless Payment Wearables

Rosan Pay Launches Contactless Payment Jewellery, Enabled by DIGISEQ.

Award-winning IoT platform DIGISEQ and Rosan Diamond, a luxury payment card manufacturer known for crafting bejewelled cards, have partnered up. Working together, they have come up with a range of Payment Ready accessories with stylish charms and key fobs that can be used for contactless payments, and more.

Functional and refined, Rosan Pay Payment Ready charm is priced at 160 Euros and Payment Ready key fobs at 55 to 60 Euros. “Partnering with DIGISEQ, a prominent player in the payment industry, allows us to enter the wearables market just in time – with the ongoing widespread contactless payment expansion. This cooperation is fully in line with our vision that payments can bring a unique lifestyle experience just everywhere around the globe,” says Alain Bourgnon, director of Rosan Diamond AG. Over the course of the next few months, Rosan Pay will be extending its catalogue to include several other distinctive and innovative payment form factors.

Unlike smartphones or smartwatches, passive wearables do not require power to function. A secure payment chip is discreetly engineered and embedded into the Rosan Pay charm, and bank card credentials are securely written into the chip when the consumer links their bank account to the wearable. This allows the bracelets to appear tasteful and simple on the outside but behave just like a credit card, with equal standards of payment security. Now, with payment devices that can be swapped and styled for the occasion, consumers can pay effortlessly and elegantly.

The innovative payment technology, Payment Ready, is a service enabled by wearable payment enabler DIGISEQ, a London based company that is a pioneer and market leader of passive wearable payment technology. “Over the years DIGISEQ has worked with many brands and banks to bring payments into retail. We want to empower consumers with freedom and choice over their payment method, in the same way, they shop for clothes,” says Terrie Smith, CEO and co-founder of DIGISEQ. “We were incredibly happy to collaborate with Rosan Pay in making their jewellery Payment Ready that we know consumers – especially women, will love.”
