As the industry continues to be in a not “business as usual” mode, LDC has begun to host regular online webinar discussions. The next one is Lone Design Club presents The State of Retail for Independents. The two-part panel discussion aims to provide the audience with a well-rounded view on what the state of retail for independent brands will look like post covid.
The first panel includes Lauretta Roberts, CEO of The Industry, Matthew Drinkwater of the Fashion Innovation Agency and Adebayo Oke-Lawal, founder of Orange Culture and yours truly. The second panel includes Laura Hartnett Former Director of Digital Project Selfridges, Jonathan Chippindale CEO Holition, Sophie Benson, Freelance Journalist Rebecca Henry, and Akua Shabaka, Founders of House of Aama.
Together, the panels will cover brand positioning, the importance of a robust digital presence and how to stand out in a saturated market. What bricks and mortar retail will look like moving forwards, pop-ups, changing consumers’ needs and wants, brand messaging, transparency, sustainability and much more.
