Sparkly Swarovski has announced that they will be launching an Android Wear smart watch at BaselWorld in March.
Taking a tentative step into the wearable market, the jewellery company made their announcement via the Qualcomm press conference at CES 2017. Powered by chipset maker Snapdragon SoC, Swarovski will be following in the footsteps of Kate Spade and Michael Kors.
To its benefit Swarovski is no stranger to the wearable market. They have in the past collaborated and spruced up, Misfit, Dolce & Gabbana‘s crystal-encrusted headphones and now Polar Loop Crystal bracelet.
Following their announcement, it seems like they made the decision to not release any visuals yet. So we have no idea whether it is going to be easy on the eye or not. At a guess, I bet it will be sparkly. What I can confirm is that they have designed models for both men and women and it is these models that they will be revealing at the BaselWorld 2017.
