Since word got out on fashion street, the PR’s behind the launch have been unashamedly drip-feeding us teasers. Also teasing us with tasters have been Rousteing’s muses, Kendall Jenner and Jourdan Dunn, who have been looking fabulous in the collection, guaranteeing that it will sell out in days after launching.

Before that happens, we want to share with you the looks that have had us salivating. We are confident that they will give you that much sought after Rousteing style.

Ok, so you have probably come to realise that we L.O.V.E this collection. We cannot count the amount of times we have drooled over the satin, the embroidery and the skintight tailoring. We were drawn in by how the collection embraces Balmain classics, from the pearl-embellished dresses to the oversize leather coats. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that we have decided to sprinkle some #WearableTechStylist magic to H&M’s latest partnership. Picking two dresses from opposite price points, we have styled them with some fashion forward accessories from Kovert Design and Van Der Waals. Which look is calling out to you? One or Two?

LOOK TWO: $69.99 Dress

Since the beginning of this article, we have been name dropping Rousteing, so who is he? Well his full name is Mister Olivier Rousteing. He has achieved four years, 9 Fashion Weeks, 398 looks and hundreds of bespoke dresses as Creative Director at Balmain. The 29 year old is also creative director of his very own fashion house Olivier Rousteing.  Recently interviewed by Vogue, Rousteing talked freely about the importance of craftsmanship, his inspirations, and how his fans influenced the collaboration. The endearing designer also shared, “I was in an orphange, I didn’t know my parents…so I always used clothes to actually identify myself. When you wear clothes, you create a world, you create your own world. I think Balmain today is a vision of the new world.”

With those words feeding my love for all things chic and distinctively Balmain, the countdown to owning at least one of these handsome pieces has begun.
