Discover why BEE & KIN might be the Fashion Tech bag you never you knew you needed

Created to make your life easier, New York based BEE & KIN have come up with a collection of fashion tech bags that enable you to go hands-free. A simple convenience, the bag connects to your phone using Bluetooth technology which allows you to control devices, apps, and services at a push of a button.

Design-wise, the bags are a modern play on classic shapes. They all come with an interior light that allows you to find what you need when you need it. The light panel is layered underneath luxe spandex, and a button operates the lights.

“I found myself struggling to find things in my bags and envisioned different ways of tying in tech to make my search simpler.”

On the modern accessory designed with thoughtful technology founder Tracey Hummel says: “Great style makes life more fun and innovative technology makes life more convenient. For as long as I can remember, I wanted to create classic accessories with a twist – beautiful product with exciting features that supports you like family. I found myself struggling to find things in my bags and envisioned different ways of tying in tech to make my search simpler. I realized that I wasn’t the only person with this struggle, which propelled me toward building Bee & Kin.”

With prices starting from $145.00 for The Assistant, I found myself drawn to The Expert XL in Lemon (also available in Tangerine, Silver and Capri). The $700.00 bag can accommodate a 15″ laptop and has all the tech features as standard. Fashion at heart, technology at the core, I think it’s time for my handbag to get an upgrade.
