Wondering What Tech-Infused Gift To Get Your Dad this Fathers Day?

Whether he is Jame Bond Cool or an Eco-Warrior, FashNerd got every type of dad covered this Father's Day.

Although it is true that when it comes to choosing a gift, it’s the thought that counts, Father’s Day is the perfect opportunity to say thank you to your old man with a sleek wearable device or sustainable fashion must have that trumps the usual socks and ties. We recommend:

FOR THE COOL DAD: LV Horizon Earphones

Designed to provide three 3.5-hour listening sessions on the go, the fashion-focused earbuds come in a sleek looking charging case. In comparison to Apple’s $159.00 AirPods, you will have to dig a little deeper to adorn Louis Vuitton’s $995.00 earphones.

Another perk worth mentioning is that those who own Louis Vuitton’s Tambour Horizon smartwatch will be able to pair it with the earphones. Which means that, if you feel inclined to do so, you can leave your smartphone at home!

The Wallor 2.0 is the latest wearable from Wallor Wearables, a company known for specialising in men’s smart wearable fashion. The wallet has been designed with real-time GPS tracking, which works worldwide whether you are in London, Amsterdam or NY.

Considered to be the leading global wearables brand, the San Francisco based company has launched a diverse line of innovative and fashionable products that range from the Fitbit Versa™ smartwatches to the Fitbit Flyer™ wireless headphones.

FOR THE SNEAKER WEARING DAD: Ecoalf trainers

Spanish brand Ecoalf, founded in 2010 by Javier Goyeneche, launched Shao sneakers. It is a no-fuss footwear collection has been made from recycled waste found in oceans and rivers.

The Ecoalf process is quite simple. Working with fishermen along the coast of Spain to source the waste, the shoe brand takes discarded plastic, processes it into a yarn, and then uses it to create a black knitted upper sole that fits the wearer like a sock. Once it has been thoroughly cleaned, the plastic is broken down into smaller parts and reduced to a polymer. Ecoalf uses this raw material to create yarn for a range of different fabrics. When it comes to the outer sole of the shoe, Ecoalf transforms algae, taken from lakes and rivers, into a flexible foam that permits natural movement, while benefiting the environment.

Father’s Day will be celebrated on Sunday 16th June 2019.
