Designer Nicole Miller Turns to Artificial Intelligence For NYFW

Fashion forecasting powered by artificial intelligence to predict the next wave of fashion trends.

Playing spot the tech at NYFW this season, we have come across some news, RevelGlam is working together with Nicole Miller, a designer known for her irreverent style of clothing. Working with the tech company the design label is going to be piloting RevelGlam’s fashion tech software which has the power to predict the next wave of fashion trends.

Taking a Chance on Technology

RevelGram is a company that has made a name for itself helping brands and retailers predict style trends and gauge customer demand with their software that is capable of leveraging image recognition technology, consumer analytics, and cognitive computing. Co-founded by Steve Eichner, veteran fashion and celebrity photographer, and Daniela Kirsch, a full-stack developer from Berlin, the company uses real-time A/B testing of celebrity, runway, and influencer fashions with an international audience of consumers.

On their partnership with Nicole Miller, Eichner told WWD,  “With a smart analysis of today’s trendsetters, you can build the business of tomorrow.” Bud Konheim, the chief executive officer of Nicole Miller, added, “RevelGlam gives us a clear, measurable look into the future. The world is increasingly dependent upon data-optimised decision making, and the fashion industry must keep pace.”
