Polar Sprinkles Some Fashion on it With Swarovski

Among all the fitness tracker brands out there, Polar might be the oldest brand in the class. Founded in 1977, the sports and fitness technology company developed the world’s first wireless heart rate monitor and now in the present day Polar has developed their very own fitness wearable, fashionably sprinkled with some Swarovski bling.

Polar Loop Crystal

Polar is not the first tech company to team up with the producer of luxury cut lead glass.  Swarovski previously spruced up brands such as MisfitDolce & Gabbana‘s  crystal-encrusted headphones and now the Polar Loop Crystal. Seamlessly partnering up fashion with function the Polar Loop features include inactivity alerts, smart notification, training guidance and of course the activity and sleep tracker. With 30 Swarovski crystals embedded into the stainless steel bezels, the new steel buckle feminizes the bracelet a-la-mode.

The Polar Loop’s price is in the same category as its competitor Jawbone’s UP2. Priced at $159.90/159,90€ (about £103, AU$220, Polar Loop Crystal will be available online and worldwide November 2015. So on that note, FashNerd would like to welcome Polar to the club. It is definitely a brand designed to not only tempt our in-house #WearableTechStylist but also the many women who believe that “Fitness Tracker are like shoes, you can never have just one”.
