Misfit Sprinkled with BaubleBar Sparkle in Time for Christmas

Is there such a thing as a flashy wearable? Well jewellery brand BaubleBar does not seem to think so. It seems that the label has been quite busy, bed hopping with various fitness tracker brands and bringing some much needed stylish bling to today’s wearables.

The sparkly label first came to our attention when they partnered up with Jawbone and now it seems that they have moved onto their next target, the recently acquired by Fossil, Misfit. It is a collaboration that has given birth to the two Helenas, an oval-link chain 32″ necklace and a 6″ bracelet. Both designs feature a gold locket that opens up to reveal the new home of the Misfit Flash fitness tracker. First introduced back in September 2014, the Misfit Flash runs on a small coin cell battery that rarely needs to be charged.

Designed to style up your look with tech, the two Helenas have the ability to track your activity and sleep levels including the calories burned, steps taken, distance travelled, and the sleep quantity and quality. The technical downfall is that the jewellery is not water proof, but that being said, you are able to clip the Flash into an activity clasp or sports bracelet, giving you the flexibility to wear it anywhere.

With vintage accents, the bracelet and the necklace are both priced at $69.99 USD. It is a price that includes one accessory, Misfit Flash + Sleep Monitor in Fuschia, Misfit Sports Band in Fuschia and an activity clasp. The BaubleBar x Misfit jewellery is certainly not the collab that will send shivers down everyones spine but with Christmas around the corner, it is definitely a great start for those curious about adorning fashion tech.

The Helena Necklace and the Helena Bracelet will be exclusively available in Target, in-store and online as of 29th November 2015.
