The legend Sir Paul Smith has gained himself some gangsta street credibility if you ask us by putting his hands on the Land Rover Defender. Since this is a ‘one-off’ specimen it won’t be easy to get your hands on it.
Land Rover’s Chief Creative Officer Gerry McGovern actually gave Paul Smith a hand crafting this babe ending up using about 27 different colors on the outside of the vehicle. “My designs are known for their attention to detail, so I didn’t want this Defender to be any different. I wanted deep rich colours, but at the same time, I wanted them to work together yet be surprising”, says Sir Paul Smith.

Since Jaguar Land Rover has announced that the defender is out of service and it will no longer produce the car because “it will not meet new European laws on fuel emissions” the last of it’s type will role of the line in December 2015. Sir Paul Smith might just have given them a reason to reconsider the company’s strategy.
