THE O, A Charming Proactive Wearable Tech Accessory

I am one of those people who is constantly leaving my things behind, so when I was approached by a New York startup, ‘THE O’, with a stylish device that could make my forgetfulness a thing of the past, I jumped at the chance.

As a proactive wearable tech fashion accessory, THE O was designed to delight as well as be a functional tech piece. Acting as an invisible leash, O has the charm to make everyday objects, such as keys, wallets, chargers, umbrellas, bags and luggage, smart. Accompanied by a mobile app, THE O will immediately notify you if you are about to lose something. This smart reminder occurs because THE O is constantly running automatic checks in the background for the items you might need. We love that it also has the tech power to alert you, should you leave your house without your wallet or your medicine.

Successfully funded on Kickstarter in late 2015, co-founders Christian T. Zeiler shared on the perks of the device one; “What makes the functionality of THE O unique is that it helps me with my personal items when and where I need it – and I don’t notice it the rest of the time. The app can already remind you to bring your umbrella when you leave the house on a rainy day and will soon check for your passport when you are leaving home to catch an international flight.”

Crafted with refined precision and inspired by intricate designs in nature, the thin, lightweight, water resistant O can be directly sewn onto fabrics by using the fine grooves on its gently curved surface. For those who want that extra look-at-me style they can indulge in the cool Premium Black Rhodium, or chic Luxury Gold.

THE O is available for $79 which includes 4 devices in one of two color ranges, double-sided adhesives, batteries and a lightweight rubber accessory for keys and bags. Shop THE O now.
