Garmin Proving it Can Hold its Own in the World of Wearables

Garmin's latest wearable the Forerunner 735XT is all about targeting multi-sport athletes.

Garmin is a brand that is holding its own in the world of wearables. Their latest offering is the Forerunner 735XT which is similar to the Forerunner 235.  The GPS-equipped waterproof sports watch has the ability to track sports with custom features for swimmers and measures heart rate using Elevate.

Garmin’s high end training watch is perfect for those who compete in triathlons, the Forerunner 735XT is priced at $450 and is compatible with Garmin’s Vector pedal tracking and Varia radar accessories that help keep you safe in traffic.

Replacing the Forerunner 920XT,  the latest Forerunner is made from soft silicon and brags a colour display, 14 hours life span in training mode, and easily tracks your workout and sleep.

Available in black/grey or midnight blue/frost blue, Garmin’s latest model also tracks sports like hiking, cross-country skiing, strength training, cardio, multisport and can go 11 days as a regular watch.

Our favourite perk is that the Garmin’s Forerunner 735XT has the ability to connect with your smartphone to control your music and can notify you for calls, emails and social network alerts. Also, Garmin’s Connect IQ store, lets you get free apps, watch faces and more.
