This little hearable tech device is called Xperia Ear. It lets you communicate while enjoying the world around you. It announces messages, weather, news, notifications and more. Plus it offers you the ability to keep phone in your pocket. The device comes with a stylish case which fits in your pocket, and that also doubles as a charger. So if you’re out and about and running low on battery, you can just pop it in the case.

The Xperia Ear’s ear-piece has been ergonomically crafted from soft silicone to sit comfortably in your ear, so light and comfortable you can wear it for hours. Sony’s electronic soft silicone in-ear-device isn’t the first on the market. Motorola came with the Moto Hint in 2015 and then there is maybe the most popular device from Bragi called ‘the Dash’ that can probably give the Xperia Ear’s ear piece some serious competition. Offering features from noise-cancellation to voice-command controls and some of these hearables, like Bragi, even offer steps and biometric tracking like heart rate.

The Xperia Ear will make the way we connect with others a less intrusive activity whilst also giving us the information we want, when we want it. It features a proximity sensor that informs a wirelessly linked Android smartphone when it is in the user’s ear. Once plugged in it can assist you with directions through an audible digital assistant, telling you when your next appointment is due or inform you about all the latest news. Basically it serves you like an AI personal Assistant. (AIPI)

The Xperia earbud has a stylish metallic finish and weighs only 6g.39 with the charger case. Its release is planned for summer of 2016.
