With every small step in advancement of Fashion Technology, there will be Danit Peleg daring to push the envelope that little bit further.

Danit Peleg. 3D printing. 5-piece collection.

It took 9 months of research and development for Peleg to come up with her beautiful 5-piece collection. What made the collection stand out from the rest was that Peleg managed to 3D print all the pieces at home. Using FilaFlex filament & Witbox home printers, it took her more than 2000 hours to print, which works out at about 400 hours per outfit. When asked why she did this, her response was “I wanted to see if it was possible.”

As the first 3D printed fashion collection printed entirely using home printers, Danit Peleg has shown us that it is possible to push the envelope when it comes to 3D printing. It is this realisation that will bring us that little bit closer to the day that we will all be able to print our own clothes from home.
